Can Marcelino was the bodega in the 40's and 50's that had become our home in Tossa de Mar, Spain.   It was a bohemian gathering place for artists and fishermen in a village at the base of the Mediterranean Catalan Costa Brava.

During the years spending mostly summers living and painting in this building, I have had a persistent daydream of creating an alternative art fair where artists and thought leaders could gather for a few weeks to  ruminate about the evolving nature of the art world.

Until this dream can be realized, let this residency serve as a placeholder where artists can come to make things and discuss where we are in art history and where we might be going.
